So we have two new goals. A poll for Daisy to get in Super Smash Flash spread by a fellow We Are Daisy member, and a goal I propose to you.I
think we should have another day where we all send nintendo a feedback form on the same day. HOWEVER, instead of unique topics, we require the topic must be focusedon amiibo. Read my comment in the chatroom.. I MAY have caused us to get Daisy in SUper Mario Maker.. or it could have been a coincidence. Who knows ? But we should definitely hold another day, (make sure it is a future day with plenty of time to spread the word to everyone so we get even more people to join us)
First of all, I'm very sorry to not be here very often during the week, but I do my studies far from my home and where I am I can't have internet...
Where could we find this poll? I could publish it on the We Are Daisy, Join Us FB page in order to have more supporters, it's seems very interesting!
For the second goal, I totally agree with you, we could do that for the amiibo. I really don't know if our group or our messages could be involved into the ABSOLUTELY GREAT introduction of Daisy in SMM but the coincidence is very "strange". I truely hope that we weren't for nothing in this decision. And I truely hope that it is the beginning of something great. Did you know that Daisy had a card in Mario and Luigi Paper Jam? It seems that Daisy begins to be more recognized by Nintendo, at least!! Could 2016 be a sort of year of Daisy?
But we decided two weeks ago to send our messages to Nintendo every Friday until they answer to us. With the Daisy costume, I don't know if it's necessary to continue for now. We could send a message to thank them and insisting on the fact that her amiibo is very waited or something like that no?
Please vote for Daisy by checking the box, then scroll to the bottom and click "Show your Vote".
The theory behind this is, if Daisy gets into a popular fan-made smash game, a significant portion of the Smash fanbase may finally see Daisy's potential in this fan-made game, which could be translated to the next Super Smash Bros. game.
If you are really nice, you would also copy and paste this message to another person who would be willing to vote for Daisy.
This message is being passed along via memoryman, as part of the We-Are-Daisy movement, where all Daisy allies stand together and remain strong in numbers. C 2015
The stupid eraser is blocked for 50 years, for others things I need a precision: for the protection, I choose only administrators or block all new and unregistered users? Because if I choose administrators only, you couldn't edit it anymore. One last thing, what do you mean by "a mod"? A sort of rules listing for the users?
Sorry about that. by mod i meant moderator as in admin as in administrator. I use all 4 terms interchangeably :)
And that is tricky. If we block the pages from unregistered users, then we discourage people from adding to this site by forcing them to make an account, so I don't think we should block pages from unregistered users.
Oh ok, I'll see that. I'm going to put off the protection, indeed it's better. We have a new support video with a lot of messages, I hope it will help us to gather more people! I suggest you to start again the grouped email sending this Friday and every week after this one like before. We should decide what to put in and we'll spread the word. I think we could first thank them for what they did and after we focus our message on the amiibo and Daisy in more games. And we'll do it to NOE too!
The part dealing with news for Daisy since we exist disappeared again, I don't really know because of what so I added it again, but the title wasn't the one you put. You'll see if you want to put it again ;)
Please protect the page, do not hesitate. The person is back and will not stop unless you protect it. Look at the links above for steps. Also, this lets admin/mods edit it still. Please make me an admin/mod.
That way, the trolls can no loner delete the page and we can still edit it.
I think that sounds good, so far! HOWEWEVER, just be aware that in the future we may get more and more members on this wikia, and potentially some daisy fans who also like rosalina would NOT like that page. We want to be open to everyone as much as possible. For now I think it is okay, but if we get complaints about it, we may have to take it down in the future since htere are people who like BOTH rosalina and daisy. :)
That was what I thought, that's why I wanted your opinion. And more I think about it, more I don't think that it would be a good idea.
For the "What's new for Daisy since the group exists" section, I never meant that the group was involved into it (I didn't wrote What have we done or something like that ;)) More a little introduction sentence explained that. This section was only here to make visitors seeing that things change for Daisy a bit more after the creation of the group than before. Again, of course, no prooves that we were totally involved into it but it could be possible.
And did you see that? In the poll for SSF2, Daisy's voices decreased a lot! I think there was a bug, it's strange. She's still first but doesn't have a lot of voices more than the second. I published a message on Miiverse to try to give her back what she deserves but we need more media, the problem is that Meetra isn't connected and can't publish it on our Fb page.
What date do you think is best for the amiibo e-mail?
Feb 5 , 12 , 19 , 26?
Remember, we don't want it too soon, but we also don't want to wait for the Wii U to die and thus no need for anymore amiibo..
I just suggested Feb 5 for the heck of it, but I want to hear your input!
Did you say you had nintendo of europe e-mail as well or something? Sorry, the spammer made your comment lost so I forget what you had told me. Can you repeat what you mentioned about sending the e-mail to other links besides the webform? Thanks!
I suggest to not choose a specific date, it will be impossible for everybody to respect it. I would say that we should do it every week like before (for example I already sent one yesterday) and that's what I suggested on Miiverse. I sent a message with it to every supporters of our petition, did you have it? Earlier will be better.
For NOE, it wasn't its email but NOF one, so it isn't important ;)
Hmm, I'm sorry sis, but I am not seeing eye to eye with you on this one!I
This is the way I think of it
Option A: We send e-mails once a week
Result: I think that the effect would be less powerful if the same person keeps sending different e-mails every week. Nintendo may just go, "oh, this person again." and stop reading them by the 3rd week since its repeated, even though it's different material it's still on the same topc of Daisy.
Plus, I think a lot of people would be too lazy or annoyed to send a unique email every week. For instance, a lot of the world is too lazy to even floss once a week, why would they be wlling to send a unique e-mail every week? Thus, the turn-out (# of people whowould actually do this), would probably be lower andl ower with each week.
Option B: We send e-mails rarely and designate a specific day for when the time comes
Result: I think Nintendo will DEFINITELY see at LEAST 1 e-mail if a LARGE amount are sent throughout one day (as opposed to a few people sending once a week, nintendo may just skip over those!), and people will be more willing to send the e-mail if we don't ask them to do it every week and give them 1 day to do it.
Ultimately I think Nintendo will DEFINITELY see at LEAST one of those many e-mails. See, the difference here is between # in a day, while I think you see # total.S
Sure, your method of a few people sending an email per week will result in a big total # of emails, but consider how many emails nintendo gets per day and how many they actually have time for? They may not even read your e-mail, so I think getting a LOT of people ando nly telling them (send on this day!) will make them more willing, less lazy, and more likely for Nintendo to read at least one of those emails that day.
Well, the problem is that it's impossible to send all together our message the same day. And I think that we've did until now and with the messages we let on different sites, people know that a big movement is working so they can act when they want but grouped and I think that Nintendo never received as much Daisy messages as these days.
More, if we select only one date, ok we'll send our message to Nintendo, and after? They will ignore us. With a continuous action like the one which is in place now could work better.
Hi Twitchy Moth! Welcome in the group! I didn't introduced myself yet, I'm very sorry. I'm Daisy FORFUTURE, one of the two founders of the We Are Daisy group (Atomic_D on Miiverse). I'm verry happy to meet a new member!
Yes, I agree, we should do both of the ideas, it will increase the advantages and reduce the inconvenients, why not!
Wow, yeah, sorry about that everyone. I'm reading back my post and I am saying "option A or option B",-- i sounded kinda demanding "either do this or do that!".
But good point, why not compromise and do a bit of both?
Lastly, I clicked that link and wow, that is some good information. We send Nintendo a message through somewhat of an "error/feedback" message system thing, and when you think about it, the persons in charge of reading the messages get the weekend off. So why send on a Friday when they may have the mindset of, "ugh, let's just quickly get by today for the weekend!". But it also brought up how many people probably aren't sending nintendo those responses on friday, SO there is less competition.
I think those who wish to send weekly e-mails can do Friday; and I can start setting up for a massive SEND EMAIL on Tuesday in the near future as a final push for the daisy amiibo (ESPECIALY with rumours that the next system NX is coming out, which may not even have amiibo!)
I think you mentioned somewhere that you are not confident in your mii looking like Daisy. I think you should still enter the contest for the heck of it and see if anyone else likes it. As stated on the page, you can always submit up to 2 different miis. :) I hope you can give it a shot! I will submit mine next weekend. Also, I hope you don't mind that I started up the contest. I think it is a good way to help people see this wikia.
ALSO, it is a good way to get allies of Daisy. Sure, some folks may not love daisy or be her fan, but I know a lot of people would be interested in making a mii even if they do not like her, so i think it is a good way to cultivate a broader audience :)
I am not sure if there is a code for that yet, but we can look it up online. I will try to search when I have time.
Right now, I am working on spreading the word of the Daisy mii contest. If you would like, can you please make a small post about it on the facebook or your miiverse? I see you have more followers than me on miiverse, so my post about it may not be seen as much as yours. :(
I will spread the word some more and then I will come back here later on.
Sounds good. Also, I just remembered. I will still check if we can find a code for # of visitors, but for now we can look at how many people voted in the poll. We know at least 22 visitors have visited so far based on the poll alone. (limit of 1 vote per unique person) :)
I will prioritize the contest advertising and working on the main page so people can find our pages more easily.
The idea of the contest is great, I've got one who is perfect!^^ Interviewing Deanna Mustard?? Wow, it's an ambitious idea but why not, it could be only interesting! But we must plan an early date to organize a new session of sending emails to Nintendo.
For Azalea, I'm going to do it where you suggest, it's the good place.
Yeah, I agree with the email thing again. I editted out the secret!
Okay, thanks for thinking of Azalea! I had just forgotten about her recently. I just found a new interesting bit of information about mario & sonic series. it looks like the artwork in game is not new, but a combination of her old picture and new. this is what is in the game
Yes it's very interesting ! It's a good idea to add it on one of our pages.
I saw that you added a section in Sarasaland Gossip, very good idea, I created the video you saw (thank you for your nice comment by the way! :)) but I didn't think to put it here! I'm going to do it right now.
I saw too that you striked out one of the rumours. It's a good idea and it's what you said you'll do in the introduction of the section but I didn't realize that it could be a bit annoying to read. Personally I think that it would be better to have an other system to replace it.
Good point. We can get rid of the strike out effect. I'll think of something else in the mean time (maybe add a small image in red and white text that says BUSTED!! next to it?)
Also, could you please at least unprotect THAT page? that way, anonymous folks can post rumours to us? Wait, can unregistered people leave comments? If so, they could just post a comment there if they had a rumour to post, right? Idk how it works, lol
On topic to this message wall, I could not find the code for # of users. however, i found a code for most active users. hover over community at the top and you can see it. okay, i'm going to go soon. just going to look for a bit more things.
It's ok, it was only a little question but if you don't know it's ok.
To my mind, your idea with "BUSTED" could be better, let's try!^^
If I unprotect the page, don't you think that the eraser will come back? it's like he is living only to destroy our work... I'll do a test with Meetra when she will come here. I'll ask her to come first as an anonymous user to see if she could comment the page. I don't think there will be a problem.
please check out the navigation and give any feedback. also, do you like the header graphics i made? if not, i can always change them when i have time. i suppose i should be askign this in the chatroom for everyone's opinion..
also I am going to add Daisy's Appearances to the navigation, but unfortunately when you created it you created it as Daisy's appearances ,and I have to capitalize the A first before i add it with the rest
You're from France, correct? I assume your Nintendo Badge Arcade got the Chocolate Daisy badge recently?
Sorry, I only know North America got it, so I didn't know if any other regions also get it or not. I will assume yes, since you removed that part.
That's great, though. I really do appreciate how you are from another part of the world. You experience different things than someone in North America may, so we have an advantage that we're a multi-national group.
There's also something I've been meaning to ask a while back. I hear that it may be possible to allow for a plugin that translates all of our words into the user's respective main language on their comptuer. So I was wondering, maybe our wikia should be more language friendly? Because it's all English right now, maybe I should look in to find plugins that allow it to appear in Japanese, French, and Spanish text?
Yes I'm French, as you saw it I removed the part of the location, in Europe we received these badges too. Yes it's very interesting to have several nationalities, European people can complete informations of American people and the invert too. It increases our importance.
Why not, your idea is interesting, not a lot of wikias have a multi languages system.
And I remember immediately taking down your image showing Daisy would be playable in that game. Well, Now that there is a source above, I can kind of believe it may be true, but we also have Sarasaland Gossip now, so I think it would be a great thing to add to the Rumours.
Originally I took it down right away because I honestly thought you made that graphic yourself, lol, no offense but whoever made that image, they made it look pretty fake (Daisy looks more vibrant than Rosalina and Metal Mario in that image)
*Note it will take a long time to complete, so MANY people will most likely not finish it. Thus, Daisy fans will finish it and make up a large portion of complete respondents. Please, complete this for Daisy. We ARE Daisy
