While they aren't considered to be main Mario Kart games, NAMCO has teamed up with Nintendo to make a handful of spin-off Mario Kart games with its own NAMCO flair. Often times, the items, vehicles, and cups differ greatly from a normal Mario Kart game. Non-Mario characters such as Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, and Blinky from Pac-Man appear as playable characters as well as Mamemetchi and Don-chan. Daisy is playable for the first time in the series in Mario Kart Arcade GP DX as of June 2017.
Mario Kart Arcade GP Edit
The Daisy Cruiser appears in the background of Mario Beach. This version of the cruiser looks similar to the one from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, however there are some notable differences. This cruiser has red stripes on the side instead of orange. The image on the side is also different like the inscription, indeed in this series it is written "Daisy Cruiser" whereas in the main Mario Kart series it is written "Princess Daisy". This cruiser is also quite shorter, having only two masts instead of three.
Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 Edit
Mario Beach returns from the previous installment. The Daisy Cruiser still appears in the background.
Daisy appears during the award ceremony in the bottom-left corner:

Daisy appears on a billboard in the Splash Circuit course, she has her own sponsor called 'Princess Daisy'. This same billboard can be spotted several times throughout the course.
Daisy was confirmed to be playable in June 2017 through a Japanese video game magazine. The update that includes her in the game is scheduled to release in Japan in June, but it's unknown when she'll be available overseas. The update has also included the Namco stages into the Grand Prix mode. She was previously teased alongside Metal Mario and Rosalina, who were added before her. Daisy is the fifth downloadable character added into the game.
Daisy is a middleweight character, which means she is a balanced character that has 3/5 stars in every stat. This is the second Mario Kart game where Peach and Daisy are not in the same weight class, the first being in Mario Kart DS. Daisy has the same stats as Mario, Luigi, and PAC-MAN.
A potential Daisy course, Daisy Hills, was possibly hinted at in an old teaser scan for the game, but it's unknown if that course or a Daisy Cup will be added.
