Daisy debuted in the Mario Golf series in NES Open Tournament Golf released in 1991, though she only made a small appearance. This was her first appearance after Super Mario Land. Since then, she has appeared in 3 Mario Golf games, and has been playable in 2 of them.

These games are well known for showing off Daisy's stubborn side.

NES Open Tournament Golf

Daisy appears as Luigi's caddy. On the game's title screen, Daisy has a blue dress and blonde hair instead of her yellow and white dress and orange hair due to color limitations on the NES.

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour is Daisy's first playable appearance in the Mario Golf series. This is one of the few games where Daisy is one of the stronger characters. Daisy's drive distance is 213 yards, and her star drive distance is 270 yards. Daisy has the longest drive of all non-star human characters, and the fourth longest drive of all characters, losing to Petey Piranha, Bowser, and Donkey Kong.

Out of the Star Characters, Daisy is the sixth strongest character, now losing to Mario and Shadow Mario, in which regular Mario and regular Shadow Mario's drives are a bit lower than Daisy's.

In this game, Deanna Mustard debuts as Daisy's voice actress. That's probably one of the reasons that this game first showed Daisy's stubborn side. It's also the first game in which Daisy wears her sports outfit consisting of her yellow tank top, orange shorts and her yellow and orange runners. Daisy also makes an appearance in the game's opening movie, where she is seen golfing with Mario, Luigi, and Peach.

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour is the very first Mario game to officially pair up Daisy and Peach as default partners. The two are a team in Doubles Mode.

Mario Golf: World Tour

Daisy makes her second playable appearance in the Mario Golf series in Mario Golf: World Tour. Daisy is again one of the stronger characters, having the third longest drive of all human characters (losing to Rosalina and Mario/Gold Mario), and the sixth strongest drive of all characters, only losing to Bowser, Rosalina, Donkey Kong, Mario/Gold Mario, and Kamek. Daisy and Nabbit are tied for the sixth strongest golfer.

Daisy's drive distance in this game is 213 yards, just like in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. Her star drive distance is 270 yards, also like in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. Nabbit has the same drive as Daisy, but Star Nabbit is a bit more powerful, leading Daisy to be the seventh strongest golfer out of the star characters.

Daisy wears her "Tennis wear" in this game, similar to Peach.

Daisy appears in the Castle Club mode. She is one of the player's main opponents in the Seaside Course along with Peach and Yoshi.

Daisy is shown to be wearing a glove in this game, just like Peach in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour and in this game. Daisy is only wearing the glove during gameplay and in one artwork, not on the character select screen. Gear based on Daisy can also be bought in the Castle Club's shop, and the Daisy costume from Mario Tennis Open can also be unlocked in this game.

Star Daisy is unlocked by beating the Forest Course Character Challenge. By collecting all the Star Coins in the Forest Course, the Daisy costume is unlocked.

Peach Gardens has a garden sculpture of Daisy on the 5th hole. The Daisy garden sculpture is surrounded by yellow flowers which form a flower.

☀ Early concepts for Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour had Princess Peach in her dress, implying Daisy also likely was originally going to appear in her dress.

☀ The two-piece sports outfit Daisy wears first appeared in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. Peach wore her a miniskirt (also known as her "Tennis wear") instead. NBA Street V3 was the first game where Peach would wear a tank top and shorts in a similar fashion to Daisy's. Daisy would then wear her own "Tennis wear" in some later sports games such as Mario Tennis Open and Mario Golf: World Tour.

☀ In Mario Golf (GBC) and Mario Golf: Advance Tour, there is a character named Azalea who bears a strong resemblance to Daisy. Camelot's Japanese website even originally said she was Daisy's sister. However, the idea has since been dropped.

☀ Daisy has worn three different outfits throughout the Mario Golf series.

☀ In Mario Golf: World Tour, the Fire Flower is Daisy's signature item. This is ironic since the Fire Flower matches Daisy's color scheme and it's a flower.

☀ NES Open Tournament Golf is one of three Mario games in which Daisy does not wear her crown. The others being Mario Tennis on both the Nintendo 64 and the Game Boy Color.

☀ The Kodansha Mario manga adaption for NES Open Tournament Golf shows Daisy and Peach golfing together, despite neither of them actually being playable in the game.

☀ NES Open Tournament Golf is the first game in which Daisy appears alongside Peach and Luigi, the two characters Daisy is most closely associated with in current Mario games.

☀ In Mario Golf: World Tour, when Daisy scores a Birdie or better, both her Birdie and Eagle or better animations magically change her outfit from her mini dress to her bright yellow dress, put gloves on her hands, and change her orange and yellow sneakers to her orange high heels.

☀ NES Open Golf Tournament is Daisy's only appearance on the NES.
